 The mantra OM MANI PADME HUM .The simple meaning of the mantra is "I am a Bejeweled Lotus" "Behold the Jewel in the Lotus". Its a spiritual expression and as the symbolism is that chanting the mantra attracts peace and harmony in life. Qualities of patience, and great improvement skills, you can transform your impure mind , speech and body into a pure form, Buddha like.Tibetan Buddhists believe that chanting the mantra in mind or saying it loud attracts the blessings of Goddess of compassion. The mantra does not require any initiation from a teacher and can be chanted by anyone who is inspired to do so. The mantra is written and read from left to right.
