Mystic knot one of the eight auspicious symbols in Tibetan Buddhism. The auspicious symbols of Buddhism being eight, this is the most beautiful symbol. Being a combination of six times infinity, it symbolizes unending happiness and luck. The likeness of two dragons, two snakes with their ends tucked into their mouths and also two twines knotted in such an arrangement that the ends are not visible, symbolize the unending life karma. The endless knot indicates the infinite wisdom of the Buddha. It is an inter lay of two opposing forces to bring about harmony and peace in the universe.
